021 ActiveModel, 무엇에 쓰는 물건인고?

레일스 trunk에 재미있는 코드가 커밋되었다. 바로 ActiveModel이라는 새로운 구성요소 후보(아직은 실험중)다.

Changeset 8118 - initial experimental commit of active_model

README에 따르면,

Totally experimental library that aims to extract common model mixins from ActiveRecord for use in ActiveResource (and other similar libraries). This is in a very rough state (no autotest or spec rake tasks set up yet), so please excuse the mess.

그렇지 않아도 액티브 리소스의 기능이 너무 미약하다고 생각되기도 하고, 그걸 다 구현하자니 DRY가 떠오르는 상황에 좋은 시도인 것 같다. 기여할 방법이 없을려나, 테스트를 좀 만들어볼까?
